Here is what I know. A home is not square footage. A home is the specific sound of a door at 6:15 and someone losing their entire composure about it. You cannot afford that sound right now, and the people who could fix that have decided to discuss zoning instead.
Consistent with my platform: every newly built unit must be dog-permitting by default, and any building that says "no pets" pays into the Department of Companionship at a rate I will determine by feel. Inspections quarterly. Yes, there will be a form.
I am told this will not fix supply. I am told a great many things. I have never once been told them by someone with a dog on their lap.
